Lena worked her way through three party outfits, two "fancy" dresses from Nonni, followed by her new ballet outfit to go with her beautiful new ballet doll named "Rose." (Notice the toe point in the last photo.) And Eli and Stella were very gracious and loving toward their big sissy.

For the first time today, Eli told me that he pooped his pants. He clearly pointed to his diaper and said..."BOP". Sure enough, there was bop in there! Ah, it's the small things in life that make a mama proud.

Happy Birthday Lena!

Lena turns 4 today! She is having a special day filled with all her favorite things...
Her dad made waffles with strawberries, bananas and whipped cream for breakfast. She picked out many special do-dads for her birthday hairdo and is wearing her fancy new dress from her great aunt. At the moment she's watching Star Wars, and we're making dirt cake for dessert. Sounds like my kind of day!

eli and stella both rolled over for the first time today. isn't that twinny and cute?

a visit to the doc

eli and stella had their two month check ups on monday. they also got their first shots. it's so sad to see band-aids on their cute chubby thighs. eli weighs 12 lbs 2 oz, stella weighs 11 lbs 4 oz and they are both 24" long. nice and healthy!

these two kids are doing great. we are tired but happy to be home and getting into the swing of things. stella had to have the vacuum on her head during delivery because she came down on her umbilical cord and had to get out quickly. you can see the bruise right on her forhead, but today it's almost gone. they are just the sweetest things. the first two pictures are stella, the last two are eli.

Well, we had two healthy babies early Friday morning. Elijah was born at 12:09 and Stella at 12:28. I will let Sarah write all the crazy details tomorrow but here are a few pictures.
