around the house

i think lena is probably singing the annie theme song in this photo...eli is looking a bit wary of the racket.

i love this picture because you can see how much lena loves her little sissy!

stella and eli getting out some toys

eli coming to get you!

stella trying to stand up...uh oh! time to buy some baby gates.

spunky stella

stella is quite a go-getter these days. besides scooting, hair-pulling, book throwing, and almost doing a proper crawl, she's also started doing a new pose on all fours with her behind up in the air. funny girl.

a little nature walk

today it was so nice outside, we went to a local wetland area for a little exploration. elijah and stella charmed everyone we passed with their chicken-like arm flapping, and lena "couldn't walk another step" until we said first one back to the top of the hill gets ice cream...she ran the whole way! ah, bribery. works like a charm.

beach trip

this past weekend we went to the beach for my dad's birthday. the tinker kids definitely enjoyed the sand (eli and stella both had a little sand-wich) and lena did plenty of bike riding.

some random shots

we love bath time!

please oh please let them feed me something I like! (note: that's finger crossing, not flipping the bird)

rats, foiled again.

elijah

cheerio? what cheerio?

oh, those cheerios! yep, i like 'em.

feeling fiesty.

tinkers at the park

on a recent sunny evening, the tinker clan ventured out for a little swingin'. lena decided to swing in the kids swing so she could get lots of underdogs from her dad.

elijah and stella love swinging like this...and it keeps them from wobbling around in the swing! they look like little bowling ball heads from the back in these hats, don't you think? pretty cute.

1, 2, 3 cuties

eli in his stylish Chinese overalls.

sleepy stella with rosy cheeks.

lena posing in front of her school. it's amazing to me how in the first picture she looks like a little girl and in the second photo she looks so grown up!

could those eyes be any wider?

the cutest boy.

stella

stella was looking so pretty today, we had to have a little photo shoot...

mmm...crocodile tail.

in the picture above stella looks exactly like my sister did as a baby...don't you think, kel?

surprise!

Easter morning

Happy Easter!

These pictures are from Saturday. We had an early egg hunt at my dad's. I'll post more pictures soon of egg hunt #2.

hot lava girl

Here is lena being "hot lava girl" falling into the lava (a pile of pillows). She doesn't get hurt though because, well, she's hot lava girl.

Modeling her "fancy gown"...

weekend in new mexico

chris and lena spent the weekend in new mexico visiting chris' parents. here are some photos from their adventure. (also, note the new hairdo. she's growing out the bangs and trying a bob, she looks so grown up!)

lena the world traveler.

very chic with her yellow ducky carry on bag.

pink camo jacket: check. walking stick: check. hot pink crocs: check. i think she's ready to hike!

soaking in grandad and nana's wood-burning hot tub.

earning her keep!
